Consultants in Laboratory Medicine has a highly experienced team of individuals managing the Information Technology (IT) aspects of CLM and its affiliates. This IT group gives CLM the ability to keep nearly all of its technology support and implementation in-house. While not only cutting expenditures, this ensures that qualified individuals are managing and maintaining the systems which electronically deliver laboratory results, medical consultations, and laboratory images.

The IT group is responsible for maintaining CLM's systems for day to day operations, and keeping a reliable network in place. CLM is continuously upgrading systems, servers, and network components to maintain healthy operations. The IT groups is also responsible for development, integration, and Q/A of software and programs to deliver lab data to ordering physicians. Examples of this are the Laboratory Medicine Consultation Program, Lab Web Portal, and Lab Images Archive. They have also developed many other systems and processes that are used internally to provide a higher level of service to CLM's customers.
