| CLM functions as the partner in Laboratory Medicine and Pathology for PHS. Dr. Walsh is the Chairman of Pathology for the Health System and oversees all of the medical aspects of the laboratories. | |
| ProMedica Laboratories functions not only as the coordinator of all inpatient laboratory services but has developed a large outreach laboratory. It functions primarily from its offsite 25,000 sq. ft. free-standing facility located at 2141 Giant Street, Toledo, Ohio, 43606. The laboratory is participating in Lean Six Sigma to enhance its overall effectiveness and quality. It is an automated facility using Beckman-Coulter instrumentation. The System labs perform over 3.2 million tests annually. The reference laboratory is M-Labs, a division of The Department of Pathology of The University of Michigan at Ann Arbor, Michigan. | |
